Eminem helps chart recovery

Eminem's album 'Recovery' is still topping charts all around the world, stunning industry analysts and outperforming expectations everywhere
Eminem's album 'Recovery' is still topping charts all around the world, stunning industry analysts and outperforming expectations everywhere.

In the USA, 'Recovery' has been at either #1 or #2 in the charts over the last nine weeks, selling over 2.2 million copies there alone, and in Australia he has barely dipped under 10,000 copies per week and is still sitting on the top.

In the U.K. the rapper is showing no sign of slowing down there either, having sold more than 300,000 copies.

Eminem broke all kinds of records with his first two records, but faded away a bit during the middle of his career. It seems like fans are happy to welcome him back for album number 7.

In a time where it only takes a few thousand copies to top the Australian charts nationally, it's nice to see some artists can still shift records
